Stéphanie Gascon

Stéphanie is an associate in Osler's disputes group in Montréal. Her practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation, with a specialization in class actions, civil and professional liability, construction and extraordinary recourses. Stéphanie holds a Licentiate in Laws, magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa, during which she completed a session at the University of Geneva in international law and an internship with a boutique law firm in Geneva specializing in general litigation and arbitration. She also completed an internship at the Administrative Tribunal of the International Labour Organization.

She then completed her common law degree, cum laude, at the University of Ottawa, as well as a Master of Laws degree from Columbia University, Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar Honors, during which Stéphanie honed her knowledge of international arbitration and international law. She also completed an internship at the International Telecommunication Union, a United Nations’ specialized agency in information and communication technologies, during which time she worked on the organization's core project of ensuring global connectivity. Stéphanie is also involved in her community. For the past three years, she has sat on the board of Petits bonheurs, a non-profit organization in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district, whose mission is to offer children aged 0 to 6 privileged access to professional and qualified artistic activities, created for them by artists from here and abroad. She is also involved with the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Multiple Sclerosis Canada, Québec division, and Opération Père-Noël. Prior to joining Osler, Stéphanie was an associate with another national firm.
