Ryan carries a broad commercial practice with a principal focus on franchising. For his franchise clients, Ryan provides advice for all stages of development on matters relating to the maintenance and expansion of franchise systems, and regularly drafts and prepares franchise agreements, disclosure documents, and ancillary agreements for use across Canada’s ever-changing regulatory landscape. Ryan’s practice also includes advising clients on a variety of commercial matters including license agreements, escrow agreements, supply agreements, distribution agreements, and various other commercial agreements.
Ryan completed his JD at Queen’s University Faculty of Law and graduated with honours from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts in political science.
