Niall is an associate in the Disputes Group of our Calgary office. His practice focuses on matters involving administrative law, regulatory prosecutions and compliance issues, electricity regulation, contaminated sites litigation, Aboriginal law, Indigenous law and environmental impact assessments. He has experience in proceedings at the Alberta Court of Appeal, Alberta Court of Justice, Alberta Utilities Commission, Environmental Appeals Board, Alberta Energy Regulator, Federal Court, Canadian Energy Regulator, and British Columbia Energy Regulator. Before law, Niall lived and worked in remote northern communities as a wilderness guide, writer, editor, and teacher.
