Ilana is a Tax lawyer in Osler Works – Transactional, a service that uses cutting-edge technology, streamlined processes and skilled legal professionals to support our deal teams and clients largely in the context of transactions. She joined Osler in 2014 after serving as a law clerk to the Honourable Mr. Justice Marshall Rothstein at the Supreme Court of Canada. Ilana obtained her LL.B. and B.C.L. at McGill University and received the Principal David L. Johnston Medal on graduation. While at McGill, she clerked for the Honourable Marie-France Bich at the Court of Appeal of Quebec and was an editor at the McGill Law Journal. Prior to law school, she studied Political Studies and Mathematics at Queen's University, graduating with the Political Studies Medal.
