Heather Mallabone

Heather is an associate in the Disputes Group of our Vancouver office. She maintains a broad civil litigation practice, with a focus on complex commercial litigation and class action defence. Her experience includes representing pharmaceutical companies in multi-party class actions, consumer-facing companies in product-liability matters, and retail companies in contractual disputes.  Heather also has an active pro bono practice, with experience advocating for clients in matters relating to gender and mental health. Heather has appeared and argued before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the British Columbia Court of Appeal.

Prior to joining Osler, Heather practiced at another major Canadian law firm in Vancouver.

*Counsel for an international pharmaceutical company in a multi-jurisdictional product liability class proceeding that was dismissed on a motion for summary judgment
