Emily Lynch

Emily is an associate in the disputes department in the Montréal office. Emily’s practice includes a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters, with a focus on class action defence, as well as investigations and regulatory enforcement. Emily obtained both civil and common law degrees from McGill University. Prior to law school, she obtained a B.A. in Political Science from Concordia University. While studying, Emily completed a clerkship in the Civil Division of the Court of Québec. She was also a pro bono legal intern at the Centre for Research-Action on Race Relations and volunteered at McGill’s Legal Information Clinic.

Emily has a particular interest in the intersection of law and privacy issues, and recently published a paper in the Dalhousie Journal of Legal Studies in relation to this topic.
