Emma graduated from the University of Ottawa’s French Common Law program, completing the combined Honours Political Science and Juris Doctor (JD) program.
Her professional background includes experience in the startup ecosystem, notably a legal internship at Wealthsimple and a role as a Strategic Partnership Specialist at Fellow.app. She also completed a legal internship at Allianz Africa in Côte d’Ivoire. Emma has a keen interest in legal technology, which led her to found a content marketing agency serving legal technology companies.
Her undergraduate studies were complemented by an intensive summer program in Management and Corporate Communications at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in Germany.
In recognition of her negotiation skills, Emma was a Walsh Cup at the Walsh Negotiation Competition in 2022 during her second year of law school.
