On February 4, 2020, The Federal Court of Appeal unanimously dismissed the judicial review applications of four Applicants which sought to quash the June 2019 Federal Cabinet decision to approve the Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion Project. The dismissal clears another major legal hurdle for the $12 billion project which is critical to enable Western Canadian energy producers to transport their products to market. This is a major victory for Trans Mountain, Canadian Energy and the Canadian economy.

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP advised Trans Mountain Canada Inc. on all litigation challenges and appeals with a team led by Maureen Killoran Q.C., Olivia Dixon and Sean Sutherland.
