On February 1, 2019, UPL Limited announced the completion of its acquisition of Arysta LifeScience Inc. from Platform Specialty Products, a chemical production corporation listed on the NYSE, for US$4.2 billion.

Arysta, based in Tokyo, is a global provider of innovative crop protection solutions, including BioSolutions and Seed Treatment.
