On July 2, 2019, Sweet Reason Beverage Crop announced its USD$2.5 million capital raise to complete its seed investment round. Lerer Hippeau led the financing with participation from RiverPark Ventures, Max Ventures and Subversive Capital.
Sweet Reason Beverage, launched in December 2018, is a women-owned and operated hemp and cannabis beverage company. Sweet Reason is dedicated to mental health research and awareness, and donates 1% of sales to mental health initiatives.
