On May 15, 2024, Relocalize announced it has closed $2.3 million in a Seed extension round. This round was led by Desjardins Capital. Relocalize plans on utilizing the funding towards its development and execution of its technology focused micro factories.

Relocalize is a production and processing platform designed to sustainably produce local food and strengthen supply chains. The company’s system employs robotics and automation to eliminate middle-mile logistics to reduce GHG emissions, water waste, and plastic pollution, enabling food industries to reduce both the environmental and economic costs of production and distribution.
