On June 2, 2022, Nasdaq announced it had entered into an agreement to acquire Metrio, a privately-held provider of environmental, social and governance (ESG) data collection, analytics and reporting services based in Montreal. With this acquisition, Nasdaq plans to integrate Metrio’s software as a service (SaaS) platform into its suite of ESG solutions.

Nasdaq is a global technology company serving the capital markets and other industries.
