On February 18, 2019, innogy SE announced a final investment decision to construct two solar projects in Alberta with a total capacity of 57 MWp.  innogy SE is an energy company based in Essen, Germany.

The Hull (30 MWp) and Vauxhall (27 MWp) solar projects are located in southern Alberta near the Town of Vauxhall. The projects were initially developed by Solar Krafte and for the past two years innogy and Solar Krafte have been jointly working on project development.

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP assisted innogy with the development of these (and other) projects with a team led by Simon Baines (Energy) that includes, Jacob Young (Corporate), Bryce Kustra (Real Estate), Martin Ignasiak, Jessica Kennedy and Cassie Richards (Regulatory, Indigenous and Environmental), Ted Thiessen and Corinne Grigoriu (Taxation).
