On October 15, 2024, Cygnus Metals announced its business combination agreement with Doré Copper Mining Corp. for a total value of $24 million.  This merger will offer the funding, expertise and strategy for superior shareholder returns through the brownfields exploration and operations in the Chibougamau mining camp.

Cygnus Metals operates as an exploration company with key assets located in tier-one mining jurisdictions.

Doré Copper Mining Corp. focuses on the acquisition, exploration, evaluation and development of mineral properties in the Canadian region.
