On December 11, 2018, Robotiq Inc. raised $31 million in funding from global investment firm Battery Ventures. Robotiq will use the proceeds for product development, international expansion, and enhanced support of its partner ecosystem.

Battery Ventures is a global, technology-focused investment firm with offices in Boston, Silicon Valley, San Francisco and Israel.

Robotiq, headquartered in Levis, Québec, designs and manufactures industrial robots.
