On May 13, 2021, Relay Financial, a Toronto-based Fintech company focused on providing banking and financial services to small businesses, completed its US$15 million Series A financing round led by Bain Capital. The funding will be used to add customers, expand its engineering and product teams and allow Relay to better integrate its platform into the small business back office. The Series A financing round brings Relay’s total funding to date to US$19.4 million.
Bain Capital is an investment firm focused on investments in the SaaS, infrastructure software, fintech, healthcare, commerce and consumer technology industries.
