On July 20, 2021, Awz Ventures announced the launch of its Awz X-Seed investment accelerator hub in Tel Aviv. This investment is launched in partnership with MAFAT - the Israeli Ministry of Defense’s Directorate of Defense Research and Development, as well as with other security agencies that will invest in pre-seed and inception stage companies. The accelerator hub will allow these companies to develop innovative security technologies with significant commercial applications in the civilian sector.
Awz X-Seed I has raised more than US$75 million, and has already identified 10 potential investment opportunities in cloud security, quantum, aerospace, deep tech, robotics, artificial intelligence, and cyber security. The firm plans to continue to expand their global client base and accelerate their commercialization and technology development to reach series A at a higher valuation.
