Osler is pleased to announce the appointment of J. Bradley White as Managing Partner of the firm’s Ottawa office. The appointment is effective January 1, 2025.
As the current Chair of Osler’s National Intellectual Property practice group and one of the country’s leading IP litigators, Brad provides strategic advice to clients on the enforcement of patent rights as well as the coordination and management of litigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions. He will continue his full-time practice and to support his clients while also serving as Managing Partner.
Brad succeeds Donna White in the role. Donna, who retired at the end of last year, served as Managing Partner of Osler’s Ottawa office from 2015 to 2024. We thank Donna for all her years of service to the firm, our clients and our Ottawa community.
“Having focused nationally as Chair of our IP practice for many years, Brad is also a respected figure in the local business community. And with more than 20 years of experience as a top litigator, Brad is an ideal fit to lead our Ottawa office in the years to come,” says Doug Bryce, Osler’s National Managing Partner. “I look forward to collaborating with Brad in this additional role to ensure continued success in the city for our clients and our team.”
