Tearney is an associate in Osler’s Financial Services Group in the Toronto office. Her practice focuses on a wide range of domestic and cross-border commercial lending matters. Tearney’s practice involves advising financial institutions, equity sponsors and corporations on financing matters, including secured and unsecured financing (e.g. bilateral and syndicated loan structures), acquisition financing, derivatives, securitizations and project financing. Tearney joined Osler as a summer student in 2019 and completed her articles with the Firm in 2020-2021, which included a secondment to a Schedule I bank.

Prior to joining Osler, Tearney also gained industry experience working in regulatory compliance at a prominent insurance and financial services company in Toronto.
