Osler is pleased to announce that Caroline Stephens, an associate in the Real Estate Group, has been shortlisted by Montréal Real Estate Forum as an “Outstanding Young Leader" in Canadian Real Estate. The Montréal Real Estate Forum was held virtually May 12 to 13 and Caroline attended as a guest of the Chicago Title Insurance Company Canada and John Rider, senior vice-president, Retail and Commercial. The winners of the program will be announced at the Toronto Real Estate Forum in December.
Caroline’s practice covers all aspects of commercial real estate law, including real estate transactions, construction law, financing and real estate components in major merger and acquisition transactions. She also assists landlords and tenants in the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial leases.
In recent years, Caroline has participated in a number of large real estate transactions, knowing how to adapt and cater to the needs of local and national real estate clients, whether it be real estate developers or real estate portfolio and asset managers. Her clients can rely on her expertise, proactivity and honesty to obtain innovative solutions to the complex and strategic questions they are faced with. In addition to her passion for law, Caroline also plays an important role in the community, being a co-founder of the Université de Montréal’s Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer Young Philanthropists.
