On July 7, 2017, Acerta Analytics Solutions Inc. ("Acerta") secured US$1.625 million in its Seed Financing round. The round was led by OMERS Ventures III, LP.

Acerta is a software company that delivers machine learning technology to the manufacturing and automotive industries.

OMERS Ventures is a Toronto-based venture capital firm investing in technology, media and telecommunications companies.

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP represented Acerta with a team consisting of Chad Bayne, Kate Royer, and Andrew Irwin (Corporate).
