Chanda serves as the Chief Client Officer at one of Canada’s leading corporate law firms, where she oversees several key areas that contribute to generating new business, enhancing existing client relationships, driving the firm’s client-centric approach, and scaling interdisciplinary collaboration to best address the wide ranging and complex needs of Osler’s clients.
Chanda has a deep understanding of the emerging technology landscape In Canada from her previous role as Co-Managing Partner at The Group Ventures, a Toronto-based fund that invests in early-stage technology ventures in Canada and in Israel. She also conceptualized, built, and ran the BMO Innovation Fund with an enterprise-level focus on evaluating and investing in technology solutions for the bank.
Previously, Chanda spent 12 years as an investment banker focusing initially on mergers and acquisitions at CIBC World Markets and Rothschild & Sons. From there she went on to manage large institutional relationships for Citigroup Canada.
